Meditation Mandalas

As an acupuncturist, one needs to have a steady hand and precise needle placement.  Similar to acupuncture, I create art that is also precise and healing.   In 2006, I began making beaded artwork that was inspired from the indigenous Huichol in Mexico.  They make some of the most amazing and intricate artwork I have ever seen.  In each unique art piece, I use a needle tool to place thousands of tiny seed beads onto a piece of wood or canvas and adhered with beeswax and then sealed, to prevent the beads from becoming displaced.

Each art piece can take between two days to 3 months to complete.  Each piece is truly a meditative process for me as it requires a relaxed mind to allow my creativity to flow and inspire each design.   As much as the mandalas are a meditation for me to create, they can also be a meditation for you to gaze into the geometric patterns and beautiful colors.  Each one is stunningly unique and a product of my positive Qi instilled in each meditation mandala!

Golden Ratio Sphere CD

Music is a universal communicator as well as a universal component of relaxation. For years, I have used music to relax my patients during acupuncture and massage sessions.

After noticing how different music played a role in each treatment, I began examining the benefits of music, sound, and harmony. With the assistance of a musician and composer, the end result has been the creation of an instrumental CD entitled, Golden Ratio Sphere.

Filled with rhythms and moving vibes, this CD is designed to create a background that promotes relaxation and calmness, an excellent companion during yoga, meditation, journal writing or other peaceful activities.
